The National Association of Government Webmasters (NAGW) welcomes noted content strategy expert Kristina Halvorson as one of this year’s keynote speakers at NAGW’s 2011 National Conference. This year’s conference is being held at the historic Hilton Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, Ohio September 14–16. This four star art deco hotel located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati will be host to the country’s only conference created specifically for local and state government webmasters.
Halvorson is founder and CEO of Brain Traffic, a world-renowned content strategy consultancy, and author of Content Strategy For The Web. She is widely recognized as the industry’s leading advocate for content strategy. “Considering that government websites are so content driven, it made sense for us to seek out a speaker on the topic.” said Ron Pringle, NAGW’s president. “And who better to have speak on content strategy than the person who wrote the book on it?”
Halvorson, who has been described as enthusiastic, articulate and funny, will be presenting her keynote on the second day of the conference, Thursday, September 15.
