The NAGW National Conference provides the perfect opportunity to share your expertise with a wide range of web professionals in local, state and federal government. NAGW is seeking presenters willing to share their knowledge and ideas on new technologies and trends at the 2018 NAGW National Conference. The focus of the conference is to bring together government employees from all levels of government who share similar goals and issues. The conference is open to anyone looking to enhance their skills and acquire knowledge on the latest trends in the web and government digital technologies. Our attendee evaluations and other industry data inform the topics we are looking for each year. While your proposed session can fall outside these core topics, priority will be given to those that fall within the following areas:
Preconference (hands-on) workshops, held on Sept 11, will be four (4) hours long with morning and afternoon sessions available. There will be a scheduled break in the morning and in the afternoon. General conference sessions are 75 minutes (60 minute presentation / 15 minute Q&A).
NAGW provides a discount off of the registration cost as compensation for speaking. Conference registration is required if your conference session is selected.
*Speaker discounts cannot be combined. If you are selected for both a regular session and a preconference workshop, a discount of up to 100% off general conference registration will be applied. Discounts are given at the sole discretion of the NAGW Board of Directors and may be revoked at any time.
*For panel sessions, the discount will be divided between the speakers. Example: For a general session panel with two speakers, each speaker would receive a 25% discount.
Speakers are responsible for their own travel expenses and the conference’s discounted hotel rate is available for speakers. Join your colleagues from around the nation and participate in the only national conference for government web professionals by government web professionals.

NAGW requires that speakers to agree to a Conference Code of Conduct that explains acceptable and unacceptable behavior at our conference, including and especially when presenting. The short version is "don’t be a jerk". We want everyone at our conference to feel welcome and comfortable.
