COVID-19 Update

    May 4, 2020
The NAGW board has decided to cancel the 2020 National Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The health of our members and the budgetary outlook for our government agencies heavily contributed to the decision. It was incredibly disappointing to me personally, as I'm sure it is for many of you.

We are in the early stages of planning a Virtual Conference for late September 2020.  I know we can't replace the in-person experience you've grown love over the years,  but we thought it was essential to connect, learn, and grow from each other.  Please continue to check this website for updates in the coming weeks.

Until we can gather again in Indianapolis 2021 (September 28 – October 1), we are working on ways to stay connected, starting with NAGW Candid Conversations Zoom meetings every other Friday at 1:00 PM central time with the first one this Friday, May 8. Please join us to discuss all the ways you are distributing COVID-19 data and information.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have.

    Regards,
    Jason Huber
    NAGW President

    Dear NAGW Members and Colleagues:

The NAGW staff and board members have been monitoring the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and meeting regularly to assess its impact.  At this time, there are no plans to cancel this year’s National Conference set for September 23 -25, 2020, in Little Rock, AR.

As this is an unprecedented event and a very fluid situation, we’ve been busy researching all of our options in order to ensure the well-being and health of our members as well as the association as a whole.

As we work to plan the conference through these challenging times, we respectfully ask for your patience while we continue to weigh all options and ask for speaker proposals, engage our sponsors, and work the host hotel Little Rock Marriott.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have.

    Regards,
    Jason Huber
    NAGW President
