All of the following steps must be completed and submitted by Friday, July 13, 2018, 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Winners are asked to attend the NAGW conference in Pittsburgh, PA in September to get acquainted with current and new board members. Check out the NAGW Board of Directors brochure for more information regarding expectations.

1. Submit Nomination

Nominations must be made in writing and emailed or mailed to the board secretary, Barbara Belli. Include the region name and position in your nomination letter. Any current full voting member may nominate any full voting member, including himself or herself for the position of Director. Don't know if someone is in your region? Consult our member directory.

  • Voting members consider nominating yourself, the current at-large director, or another NAGW
  • Voting members in elected regions consider nominating yourself, your current regional director, or another NAGW member from your region for one of the regional positions

Once your nomination letter has been submitted, the board secretary will acknowledge receipt.

2. Submit Nominee Questionnaire, Letters of Reference (2), Photo & Bio

Once your nomination has been submitted you must also complete the following prior to the nomination due date. Responses to questionnaires will be posted along with the candidate's name and photo in the members only area for your region members to review. All required materials can be submitted via the questionnaire.

  • Complete NAGW board nominee questionnaire
  • Submit candidate photo (files types png, jpg or gif / no larger than 2 MB)
  • Submit two letters of reference (files types txt, rtf, pdf, doc or docx / no larger than 2 MB each)
