Two weeks left to enter 2026 Pinnacle Awards
NAGW’s 2026 Pinnacle Awards celebrate the websites, digital tools, accessibility initiatives, communication campaigns and innovative projects that are transforming government services. Never submitted an entry before? This is your year to give it a try! The submission deadline is Sunday, July, 12, 2026.
If you solved a problem, improved a service, increased engagement, streamlined a process, or found a creative way to serve your community in the last year and a half, that's exactly the kind of work we want to showcase.
Award Categories
Award categories recognize a wide range of work, including:
- Government website design
- Social media campaigns
- AI and automation
- Online service tools and apps
- Accessibility initiatives
- Data dashboards and transparency tools
- Crisis communications
- Podcasts, video and multimedia projects
- Virtual engagement initiatives
We're also seeking nominations for the Steven Michael Moore Pinnacle Award, which is presented to a nominee for excellence in the government web profession.
Key Dates
- Submission Deadline: Sunday, July 12, 2026
- Awards Presentation: Pinnacle Awards Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, during the NAGW National Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Eligibility
Work produced since Jan. 1, 2025, to the present is eligible for entry.
The Pinnacle Awards competition is open to all local government jurisdictions (cities, counties, towns, villages, special districts, etc.), nongovernmental organizations, state and federal jurisdictions. Vendors and consultants may also submit entries on behalf of their government clients, provided they are submitted under the client's name and jurisdiction.
Entry Fee
- NAGW Members and Nonmembers: $150 per award entry (except for Steven Michael Moore Pinnacle Award)
- Payment must be received no later than Aug. 2, 2026, for your entry to be eligible for the competition
