NAGW Announces 2026 Pinnacle Award Winners

Oct. 9, 2026

The National Association of Government Web Professionals (NAGW) announced its annual Pinnacle Award winners during the organization's 2026 national conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The NAGW Pinnacle Awards celebrate excellence in digital government innovation and are judged by peers and other industry professionals. The awards ceremony highlighted outstanding achievements and innovation in transforming government services.

“The Pinnacle Awards give us an opportunity to recognize some of the people and teams across the country doing this work exceptionally well,” said NAGW President Jennifer Chapman. “Their approach and dedication to improving government web services not only enhance transparency and accessibility but also set a benchmark for all professionals in our field. Collectively, we are shaping the future of digital government, ensuring that everyone can engage with their government easily and effectively."

Excellence in Government Web Design Awards were presented in subcategories for city and county, special district and nongovernmental, state and federal, as well as microsite and special site features. The Excellence in Digital Innovation and Engagement award recognizes forward-thinking digital projects that demonstrate creative use of technology to enhance public engagement, service delivery or access to information. The Steven Michael Moore Pinnacle Award is presented to a nominee that demonstrates excellence in the government web profession.

Additionally, the NAGW membership voted on the Members' Choice Awards from among the top entries in the Web Design category. Pinnacle Award event sponsor Siteimprove, a leading platform that helps organizations deliver better digital experiences, presented the Sponsor's Best of Show Award.
