A Place on the Map for Everyone
Making GIS More Accessible to Meet WCAG Requirements
Sandy Springs offers a range of public-facing maps that help residents access information on land development, stormwater, parks, capital improvement projects, and more. A Place on the Map for Everyone: Making GIS More Accessible to Meet WCAG Requirements will share Sandy Springs' approach to making GIS content more accessible and inclusive. This webinar will highlight updates made to maps and applications to better align with WCAG requirements, the tools and resources used to assess accessibility, and how those practices have been applied in ArcGIS Online. Attendees will leave with practical ideas for improving accessibility in digital maps and GIS applications.
