Marc Drummond
Marc Drummond has been the web technologies coordinator for the city of Minnetonka since September 2004, tackling the web and graphic design needs for the city. One of his biggest projects has been redesigning the city's Web site, eminnetonka.com, from the ground up. The site validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict, using semantic coding and CSS for layout and design. XML, XSL, ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator were also used in the project. He also recently completed his second redesign of the city's Intranet, using Drupal.
Marc grew up in Minnesota, graduated with a BA in English from Albion College in Michigan, and took classes after work for three years to earn a Certificate in Web Design as well as a Certificate in Electronic Publishing (essentially graphic design) from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. He lives in Woodbury with his wife, puppy, and kitty, and when not redesigning Web sites or trying new things with CSS, Drupal or other design techniques, he enjoys a good book, a movie, traveling or a nice walk.
