Keynote: Government as a Platform in the Age of the App
Tim O’Reilly is the founder and CEO of O’Reilly Media, thought by many to be the best computer book publisher in the world. His original business plan was simply “interesting work for interesting people,” and that’s worked out pretty well. He publishes books, runs conferences, invests in early-stage startups, urges companies to create more value than they capture, and tries to change the world by spreading and amplifying the knowledge of innovators.

Keynote: Looking Back to Move Forward: Building the Modern Web
Rachel Andrew is the founder and managing director of the UK-based software company edgeofmyseat.com, whose flagship product is the Perch CMS. She has more than 16 years of web development experience and is a successful author of numerous articles and two self-published books – The Profitable Side Project Handbook and CSS3 Layout Modules (now in its second edition).

Keynote: The 10 Challenges of Citizen-Facing Communications: What Every Government Web Manager Must Master
Dr. Alan Shark is Executive Director and CEO of Public Technology Institute (PTI), a national organization focusing on technology issues that impact local government and thought-leaders in the public sector. He is the recipient of the prestigious 2012 National Technology Champion Award from the National Association of State Chief Information Officers and the author of 7 Trends That Will Transform Local Government Through Technology (2012) and co-author of the book Web 2.0 Civic Media in Action (2011).

Keynote: Data, Design, and Delivery
Abhi Nemani became Chief Data Officer for the City of Los Angeles in September of 2014. He is a former Code for America (CfA) co-director who led the organization’s strategic development and growth through multiple new programs, including the launch of a first-of-its-kind civic startup accelerator and the CfA Peer Network, designed to connect cities to help them work together
